Aharon Fleury provides expertise in fisheries (Hawai’ian Islands Deep 7, Pacific hagfish, reproductive biology, modelling), deep-sea ecology (deep-sea mining, community ecology, baited-cameras, traps, exploration), and risk assessment. He has also provided support for the ECORISK Database with the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Aharon has further interests in toxicology in both human health and environmental aspects for land and sea. Aharon holds an M.Sc. (Biology with fisheries focus) from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, and a B.Sc. (Marine Biology) from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.
