Anna Springsteen

Anna supports environmental projects in the areas of data analysis, data visualization, and map production. Some components of her work include analyses on environmental data, MEC-HAs, and visual representations of data.

In her previous position as a GIS modeler at the Scenarios Network for Alaska & Arctic Planning (SNAP), an organization associated with the University of Alaska, Anna worked on a variety of projects focused broadly on communicating knowledge about climate, downscaling climate change projections, modeling boreal fires under future climate scenarios, and working with federal agencies to help incorporate climate change into comprehensive plans. Anna also worked for The Wilderness Society as climate change analyst and has experience with atmospheric correction of satellite imagery as well as orthorectification of aerial photographs in ERDAS Imagine.
