Dr. Wendy Swanson is a statistician with broad interests in biology, chemistry and toxicology. She has over 15 years of experience in basic and applied environmental statistics. Dr. Swanson provides Quality Assurance review for Neptune Performance Assessment projects. She performs sensitivity analysis to identify key input parameters responsible for dynamic computer model outcomes and performance. She assists clients in planned collection and interpretation of environmental data through development of sampling plans and application of data analysis, graphical presentation and risk assessment tools. Her risk assessment projects have addressed environmental contamination over large spatial scales with multiple stressors and have included analyses of multiple data types (soil, sediment, rock or tuff, water, biotic tissue and toxicity testing). Her major clients include Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DoD) facilities and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
